The Wanted have also been nominated for a number of awards including a Brit award for ‘Best British Single.

The band are currently working on their second album, with the first single from the album ‘Gold Forever’ scheduled to be released on 13th March and will be the official song for this year’s Comic Relief campaign.

Stephen Wallis, Newmarket Racecourses Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming The Wanted to The July Course this summer.

Stephen continued: “As in previous years, we expect tickets for this year’s Nights to sell phenomenally fast and so I would urge people to book early in order to ensure their ticket."

Parade set fire to The Wanted's dressing room at T4 on the Beach.

THERE were plenty of popstar japes and LOLs backstage at yesterday’s beachfest.

After The Wanted stuck mini cheddars in Parade’s shoes and left a little present in their dressing room toilet at a gig last month, the girls got revenge by setting fire to the boys’ dressing room.

So The Wanted threw beer on them as they performed. And then they all had a big fight with silly string.

Example wants to collaborate with The Wanted

Blimey, here’s a pair up we never thought would happen. It’s sounding more and more like Example will be teaming up with those nice young boybanders, The Wanted, on their new album.

And neither party are being secretive about it either (thanks for that guys, we do like knowing what’s going down). In fact, Example took to Twitter yesterday to tell pal Siva Kaneswaran that he’s very much up for working on the boys’ new record which will be out later in the year.

“I defo want to be involved with the new album,” Example, aka Elliot Gleave, tweeted (to Siva). Prompting the welcome reply of, “I’m on it mate. Follow so I can DM you.” And just like that the conversation went private and we will have to wait for tales of studio laughs and lyric-writing until the album itself comes out.
